We were awarded a bronze Stevie® statue in the 17th Annual International Business Awards® (IBAs), the winners of which were announced last week.

Our outstanding approach to communicate and care for our employees during the pandemic, earned us bronze in the Most Exemplary Employer category. This category was specially created this year to honour those organisations that have demonstrated extra commitment to keeping their employees working, paid, and safe during the pandemic.
The COVID-19 outbreak made us examine various aspects of our lives in a new light and with a newfound appreciation – our health, our relationships, our work and mainly how we stay together. The need to communicate and keep in touch was stronger than ever before. It was therefore crucial to respond both adequately and promptly to our external customers’ and partners’ pandemic challenges, while catering to and strengthening the community within our own organization.
#StayTogether
We have focused on our employees safety and pandemic awareness. We wanted to be as transparent as we can about everything happening at the company and last but not least – to bring our togetherness on a next level, no matter the distance and the tough times we have all experienced.

We launched the #StayTogether initiative, which was directly geared towards supporting our employees, and decided to keep it up even after the lockdown. Through #StayTogether, we engaged our colleagues with different non-work related activities aimed at boosting their mood and giving them a chance to share a few laughs together. We hosted a number of initiatives which appealed to the groups they were targeted at. They included photo-sharing challenges, kids’ online arts-and-crafts and storytelling, online pub quizzes on a variety of different categories, leisurely employee presentations about their countries of origin or residence, dubbed “Tell Me About Your Country”. As of recent, we have also been offering our employees the opportunity to work remotely at the seaside, in strict compliance with the anti-epidemic measures.
Here is what IBAs jury said about our work:

“Proactive and clear initiatives to “stay together” is awesome and highly appreciated.”
“Great initiative and strategies implemented during these difficult times. Also, the new launch #StayTogether initiative is very impressive. Keep up the good work!”
“A heartfelt and innovative approach to addressing the Covid-19 pandemic. The employer was human-centric and put the needs of the employees first ensuring long-term loyalty post the crisis. Including family and personal stories as part of the lockdown narrative was great in that sharing this aspect would assist the team to understand that others were probably sharing the same experiences. A Data Pro used the lockdown to ‘bond’ with employees globally which can only result in more engagement and better performance once business and economies restart in the future. Well done!”

Thank you
We would love to thank all of the team for being such great professionals and people! We know that the crisis brought to us a lot of difficulties, uncertainties and stress, but there were also opportunities as well.
We had the chance to test our values on a different level, to prove our exceptional teamwork, to strengthen the connection between us and to update to a new version of togetherness.
