On October 8, in Lisbon, Portugal, the European Outsourcing Association (EOA) recognized Bulgaria as the Offshoring Destination of the Year for 2015!
In its sixth year, the EOA Awards, hosted by the UK National Outsourcing Association, celebrated the efforts of companies and countries who have demonstrated best-practices in Pan-European outsourcing.
Being awarded from the EOA Awards is a testament to having achieved something truly spectacular in the realm of outsourcing. We were very excited to meet the crowned partnerships and organizations as the best of Europe’s outsourcing elite., said Kerry Hallard, Director of the EOA.
In 2014 Bulgaria was the only country in Europe to make it into in the Top 10 in the 2014 Global Services Location Index of AT Kearney, with only five countries from Europe among the top 20. The growth of Bulgaria has been fueled by the transformation of the industry from pure cost and high-volume staff play to a more complex combination of quality, language skills and cultural proximity, based on fewer people working in innovative shared-services centers.
People skills, quality of work and attitude are the most important ingredients in such rankings.
