A Data Pro was named Innovative Enterprise of the Year 2015 in Innovation Management at the 11th edition of the national forum titled Development of Innovation Ecosystem for Sustainable Economic Growth in Bulgaria. It is among the nine winners in the categories of the Innovative Enterprise national contest. The awards were presented by the President of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, at a ceremony in the Sofia Balkan hotel on December 8.
The forum and the contest is organized annually by the Applied Research and Communications Fund, ARC Consulting, Enterprise Europe Network Bulgaria and the Representation of the European Commission (EC) in Bulgaria, with the support of Directorate General GROW, the EC, the Executive Agency for SMEs and the Norway Grants.
The company has been recognised as a leader in the knowledge-intensive sector, with its new products, technologies and business models. A Data Pro’s strengths come from the spirit of teamwork, its flexibility, approach to clients and the dedication to the professional development of its best cherished asset – the people.
The award was received by Anton Todorov, our Business Development Manager. Later he said, “As a strong believer in intrapreneurship I think there are very few companies as supportive for nurturing innovations for business, organizational and personal development as A Data Pro. I was extremely honoured to receive this award as an appreciation of the outstanding results achieved in particular by the IT, HR, finance and business development units in setting the stage for innovations.”
In his address to the forum the President clearly showed his commitment to building up the innovation capacity of Bulgaria. He pointed out that innovation is the driving force for the three fastest growing sectors in Bulgaria – the IT, the automotive industry and the outsourcing services. Crucial for the economy are “those people who not only follow trends but set them, the ones who look confidently forward into the future,” he added.
This much appreciated award is a result of the hard work of the whole company in the past few years, said Rayna Grigorova, part of the Business Development team of A Data Pro who prepared the dossier. “In August 2015 we performed a self-assessment of our Innovation Management System based on the IMP3Rove Innovation Management Assessment – a methodology recognized by the European Commission, based on the AT Kearny House of Innovation framework. The evaluation focuses on five major dimensions – Innovation Strategy, Innovation Organisation and Culture, Innovation Life Cycle Processes, Enabling Factors and Innovation Results.
The Innovation Management award was introduced this year. A Dada Pro was selected among 11 other businesses in this category, based on the IMP3rove assessment report, the operations of the company and its innovation management processes.
We aim to continue the pursuit of best practices that benefit our employees and the future development of the knowledge-intensive industry in our region. Stay tuned.
