It’s a wrap!

The team is back in the office after our trip to Barcelona for the AMEC 10th Global Summit on Measurement – one of the PR and communications measurement industry’s biggest events. We’ve been regulars at AMEC events for years, but this year’s Global Summit was an especially big, successful and interesting one for us.

We were sponsors of the pre-Summit Business Networking Fair on 12th June, as well as of a full day of workshops on 14th June. To top it off, Gerogi Auad, the director of our media analysis agency Perceptica, was nominated for AMEC’s Young Professional of the Year Award – quite an honour, though we didn’t win this time. Still, our CEO Ilia Krustev was among the presenters of the AMEC Awards, which was quite grand.

The greatest highlight of our participation in the Global Summit, however, was our live text mining demo, developed by our artificial intelligence and automation hub Identrics and unveiled on the eve of the conference. We’ll let the photo of our CRM Manager Misho Hristov showcasing the demo speak for itself, but it’s fair to say we wowed the crowd with our text mining capabilities.

Finally, and quite thematically for us, one of the key topics at the conference was the role of new technologies in media intelligence and communications measurement. Delving into this subject with our peers was a hugely insightful and we’re certain that, in this respect, we’ve achieved the Summit’s main goal of fast-forwarding our industry’s development.

None of this would, of course, have been possible without the thorough planning and professionalism of the Summit’s organisers. So, AMEC, our congratulations for an event very well done. We’ll be back for more next year.
