This week we would like to present someone who has been an integral part of the A Data Pro family ever since joining. He has led and delivered numerous successful projects, and his main goal is to bring smiles on the clients’ and employees’ faces alike.

Meet Boris

A manager with a heart for a dream-team space on the mission to create (and, in our opinion, already have created) an even more creative and trustworthy working atmosphere. One who seeks to guide, motivate, and inspire you in order to maximize your potential. Isn’t that the kind of manager you’d want to work with on a daily basis?

Please tell us a little bit about yourself

Hello, I’m Bobi. I’m from Sofia and in Sofia. I’m one of those people who is ridiculed for growing up on yellow cobblestones, and in my case, that’s almost true. I studied French in high school, after which I continued my education at the UNWE, where I studied Political Science and European Studies, as well as French and Spanish. More importantly, there and then I met my partner in life and crime Milena and since then we continue our adventure for 11 years now. Then I studied for a master’s degree in International Business, which I have not still been able to complete (I keep my door open) because I was distracted by working at ADP.

Outside of work, оne of my great passions is traveling. I love discovering new places, food, and traditions.

In general, I would say that I love the pleasures of life in all their forms. I love to travel, but also to return home. I love to eat gourmet food, but I also love to cook it. I love the silence of the book, but I also love the noisy company. I love Sofia, but I also love to rest at my countryside villa.

In life, I’m trying to discover and spread positive emotions and vibes for myself and for all the people around me, because I believe that goodness and beauty are contagious and must be constantly nourished.

Last but not least, our life and family would not be complete without our amazing adopted dog – Sirius, he is truly amazing, loving, best friend (not only to us but also to everyone he meets) and an inseparable companion.

What is your ADP Story?

My history at ADP started 9 years ago when I was in the second year of my master’s degree, and I wanted to start working urgently, so that I could leave my parents’ home and live with my girlfriend. Fortunately, then ADP appeared and offered me the exact job I wanted. I started as a freelancer in several projects. Sadly, the projects were canceled and there were a few months when I didn’t have a job, after which I was finally offered a permanent position. Since then I have worked on dozens of small and large projects, in different teams and with different managers. Over time, I gained experience and settled with the Newsletters team, where I became a senior analyst, and later a Project Lead, as I am to this day.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work in ADP?

What I am most proud of, of course, are the people I work with!

No matter how much I talk about won projects, awards and satisfied clients, behind all this are the people who work every day and who build our success. This is exactly my mission as a manager, to try to create a more creative, calm, and trustful environment, so that everyone can give their best, feeling valued and supported in their efforts.

I am currently the manager of over 25 people and manage a client with over 100 projects with us, so this is a daily struggle. However, I believe that only happy employees whom we truly trust and whom we are ready to give freedom to express themselves are the ones we should be proud of. Together we can win more and more reasons for pride.

What would you advise your younger self?

I would say to my younger self that everything will be fine, I would advise him to believe more in himself and in the good future. By the way, it’s not bad to remind myself that now too.

We live in a dynamic world. How do you expect the industry you work in to change over the next 12 months? (ex. interesting tendencies, trends, latest developments etc.)

Business, science, and the working environment are evolving faster and faster, so we all need to get used to it and accept it. Our field, the media intelligence, is always one of the first to react to changes and is constantly evolving, so we must be constantly prepared for change, ready to learn new things, and try to move along with the development of technology because the business will require faster reactions, faster decision making, and better-prepared people.

Which fictional character do you feel you’re most like? What traits do you share with them?

This seems to be the most complicated question so far. I have been compared to Johnny Bravo more than once, but the similarities with him remain only external, especially in the always perfect hairstyle.

As a career researcher, I looked for a character who would suit me more accurately and found one not so familiar to me, and I guess not only to me, namely – Mr. Peanutbutter. I will allow myself to quote part of his description on Google: “… extremely cheerful, likeable, friendly and optimistic. His charisma is infectious and he brings joy to those around him, giving us the impression of an individual without any burden as he goes about his daily life in a borderline reckless way.” – a description that I really like and that I would like to apply to me.

Disclaimer: After all, he is a dog and I can’t even imagine that I could spread so much joy around me, but I’ll keep trying.
