An amazing three days for A Data Pro and the industry
It’s over. The 2019 AMEC Global Summit is behind us and we’re proud to have once again been a part of the global communications community’s biggest gathering. This year, the Summit took place on 21-23 May in Prague’s art-nouveau splendor. Additionally, as luck would have it, the FIBEP Tech Day was also in Prague, but on the 24th, and we were there too.
At the AMEC Summit
The AMEC Summit once again gathered the most prominent industry professionals and experts. Discussions, panels and special presentations highlighted the newest trends and best practices. A Data Pro’s team consisted of CEO Iliya Krastev, CTO Vladimir Petkov and AMEC’s brand new Young Professional of the Year – our Social Media Account Manager Anastasiya Nanivska! But more on that later.

On the 23rd, Vladimir presented at the Workshop B – “Developing your data stack: finding and delivering data that matters”. His presentation was accepted extremely well and flowed into a discussion, with many questions from the audience delving deeper into the subject of data stacks and their importance for digital change.
Additionally, in her presentation, Anastasiya talked about communications measurement in nonprofits’ activities and how it helps them prove their worth and their mission’s success. Again, Anastasiya’s presentation turned out to be very interesting to listeners. Afterwards, she was busy discussing the topic with colleagues from other companies around the world.
The big night!
The highlight of the summit – the 2019 AMEC Awards Gala Dinner – took the gathering to a whole new level for us. There, Anastasiya was announced as the winner of the special AMEC “Young Professional of the Year” award! We are all super proud to have her with us! A media monitoring and analysis specialist with 10 years’ experience, Anastasiya’s was recognised officially by the most important association in our industry. Congratulations, Nastya!

The FIBEP Tech Day
Moving on to the FIBEP Tech Day, Identrics’ CTO Deyan Peychev impressed the crowd with his tech presentation, titled “Advanced NLP meets old-fashioned math: creating automated and objective share of voice”. The presentation revolved around a case-study for a global alcoholic beverages company. As with the other two presentations, Deyan generated a lot of questions and strong interest in the topic.
We thank the organisers at AMEC and FIBEP and all other involved in the two events. We are looking forward to what’s coming next.
Stay tuned for more company news.
