Yesterday the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) launched the revised version of the 2010 Barcelona Principles. As a proud member, we happily support the updated PR measurement system.
#barcelonaprinciples 2.0 gives us a major opportunity to reposition our industry – calling all PRs to get behind @AmecOrg and drive change

Here’s a snapshot of the key changes we find useful:
- Barcelona Principles 2.0 goes beyond the PR sector and outlines applications for communications measurement overall.
- The revised Principles include greater attention to the role of qualitative methods alongside quantitative methods.
- The Barcelona Principles of 2015 also acknowledge the realities of working in an increasingly integrated field.
