The Association for Innovation, Business Services and Technology (AIBEST) has launched its national roadshow Drivers of Success during which top managers of the biggest knowledge-intensive companies in Bulgaria present to students opportunities for career development in the industry.
A Data Pro, along with Pontica Solutions, HP, Experian Bulgaria, Scalefocus, Proxiad, KBC Shared Services & Digital Development Center, Ingram Micro Bulgaria, Cargotec Bulgaria, Alorica – Bulgaria, TELUS International Bulgaria, and Sutherland Bulgaria, shared its decades-long experience in training & development and home office best practices.
So far, Drivers of Success has been hosted by three major Bulgarian universities – the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Trakia University in Stara Zagora, and the American University in Blagoevgrad.
During the events, top managers and HR specialists unveiled the vast field of opportunities before students of various educational backgrounds. The business representatives emphasised the fact that working from anywhere in the world has long been an option in the BPO and IT industries, urging students to look for a successful career not far from home. The AIBEST members offer hundreds of different career paths and professions easily accessible to anyone who possesses talent and desire to learn, regardless of location and experience. Via remote working, the knowledge-intensive industry brings global companies to any point in Bulgaria, thus supporting the local economy.
Training and Development Manager Desislava Petrova presented the L&D processes at A Data Pro, illustrating the growth opportunities for young people through her own 15-year-long story at the company.
A Data Pro has been cooperating with Bulgarian universities for years and boasts comprehensive training programmes intended for students and young talents with zero experience. A Data Pro welcomes students and professionals from all walks of life eager to redefine their careers or discover a new profession in the information services industry, Petrova told university communities. She also encouraged young people to broaden their perspective with career options in the knowledge-intensive sector.
In addition to the university events, 12 executive directors of AIBEST members, representing some of the largest companies in Bulgaria, took part in the Investment and Innovation Forum in Blagoevgrad. The managers discussed ways to improve the conditions for business development with Bulgarian Innovation and Growth Minister Daniel Lorer and Blagoevgrad Mayor Ilko Stoyanov. Managers and officials also talked about career opportunities for students at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG).
